Head & Shoulders “Supreme”

I directed this commercial together with the talented Mr. Kehl.

We decided not to use CGI to create the ink spreading from the packages, but to shoot it for real. The individual product shots were also filmed in the studio.

We then used CGI to determine the camera movements and began editing. Once the rhythm of the commercial had been established, we began rendering so that we could integrate the veil of color spreading first on the packaging and then on the ground into the compositing.

I was responsible for directing, editing, and VFX supervision and compositing for this commercial.
